An entertainment pundit/Social media commentator Mhegha, has in a Facebook post advised Upper East artistes to stop the envy and sabotage and come together and push Upper East Music forward. Mhegha is a native of Upper East but is currently studying in Russia. Below is what he posted on Facebook.
“Upon taking a deeper thought of promoting and putting Bolga music on the map, I arrived at this .
In my own observations, I saw Bolga music taking a steady growth in the latter part of 2017 with a lot of hit songs showcasing the talents in the region and I personally projected 2018 to be the breakthrough year for our talents but things hasn’t really gone as expected eventhough 2018 has recorded some slight improvements in the industry.
The question now is when will this most anticipated breakthrough moment for the industry come?
What can we do to catalyse this breakthrough.
What will happen if all our artistes bury their differences and come under one umbrella to record a couple of songs showcasing the talents in the region.
Our guys will surely blow but the question is when will they get into main stream. It’s high time we ended some unhealthy rivalries among ourselves. Coming together and collectively pushing our guys without any differences will surely be a good propeller. Let’s support and promote good music.
It’s either we all come together and push our talents up or remained divided and stay stagnant.
My humble opinion tho
